EVENTS FOR PLAY
At NC4K Events for Play, families have an opportunity to enjoy fun-filled events for everyone! These events are zero cost to the family and designed to give you an opportunity to make memories and build community.
FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY
BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH
This annual event helps every NC4K Family get ready for their return to school. Featuring fun, music, and food, each school-aged kid will receive a backpack, school supplies, back-to-school clothes, and shoes. In 2023, the Back-to-School Program also included haircuts, eye screenings, and family photos.
OSU MARCHING BAND NIGHT
Every year, the OSU Marching Band invites NC4K families to join them at Ohio Stadium to observe a rehearsal and play fun field games. As rehearsal comes to an end, NC4K families will join the Band in marching the traditional Script Ohio and singing "Carmen Ohio" together.
REINDEER GAMES HOLIDAY PARTY
To celebrate the holiday season, NC4K Families gather for fun and festivities. Families in active treatment (or within 3 years of completing active treatment) have the opportunity to be adopted by the NC4K community and receive a gift box of goodies for the entire family. During the event, parents are invited to select gifts for their kids at the Santa Shop and kids are invited to select special gifts for their parents in the Elf Shop. The celebration includes a variety of activities, crafts, photos with Santa, and so much more.
