For families battling the financial burdens and emotional stress of a childhood cancer diagnosis, the holidays can be especially difficult. Meaningful support from our community of Champions helps lift up our Heroes and their loved ones, bringing comfort, connection, and joy when it’s needed most.
Explore ways to help this season: adopt a family, host a gift drive, join the Reindeer Run 5K, volunteer, or make a holiday gift to support NC4K families.
Volunteer at one of our holiday events
We have several volunteer opportunities coming up for the holidays! Help organize gift drop-offs at our office, assist with packet pick-up for Reindeer Run participants, help out at our family holiday party, or be a part of our event support team at the Reindeer Run! Participate in the 2024 Reindeer Run
Get ready to walk, run, or jog a 5K in Downtown Columbus along the Scioto Mile. Looking for a family-friendly option? Sign up for our half-mile Santa Stroll or Chick-fil-A Kids’ Fun Run! After the race, participants are encouraged to stick around for the Rooftop Reindeer Party at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum.
Host a gift drive
Start a gift drive at your office, church, community center, or anywhere else you’d like to spread awareness! Items will be included in the Santa Shop at our holiday party, where parents can pick out gifts for their children. If you’re interested, fill out the form below! Make a donation
A monetary gift of any value will go a long way in ensuring NC4K Families have the essential support they need for the holidays. Your donation may be used to pay for a family’s heating bill to keep them warm this winter, or it may be used to stock our Elf Shop so our Heroes and siblings have plenty of options when they’re shopping for their parents’ gifts.
