When a family is faced with a childhood cancer diagnosis, they are also faced with significant financial challenges. NC4K provides families with financial resources to support their everyday living experiences.

Emotional Support

We know that a pediatric cancer diagnosis takes a toll on the entire family, and we feel it is important to create moments that allow them to simply enjoy time together in a meaningful way. We work directly with families to learn how we can bring smiles to their faces.

NC4K’s family events aim to foster connection and reduce the loneliness families feel during their cancer journey. We believe in the power of play, fun, and community as valuable tools to support a family while they navigate the overwhelming experience of childhood cancer.

Meet The Karr Family! They are one of our Featured Families this year. Their Hero, Rhett, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at just three months old and spent the following nine months of his life inpatient at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Seven months into his treatment Rhett received a bone marrow transplant from his perfect match, his then four-year-old sister. She was so brave and so excited to be a perfect match for her brother.
